Three things to look for when choosing a hypnotherapist
1. Credentials
Has this hypnotherapist completed a training program and are they certified through either ACHE (American Council of Hypnotist Examiners) or ASCH (American Society of Clinical Hypnosis)? If the hypnotherapist's credentials are not listed on their website, ask for them. I trained with the Academy for Hypnosis and am certified through ACHE.
2. Experience with Hypnosis as a Client
Most hypnotherapists were exposed to hypnotherapy as a client first. A hypnotherapist is much more effective when they have had the experience of being the client. Any highly effective hypnotherapist, therapist, or coach has their own hypnotherapist, therapist, or coach whom they continue to see.
3. References
If you haven't been referred by a trusted source, ask for references. All of my client testimonials on my site are from actual clients and I'm happy to provide more.
