Why would someone want to do a hypnotherapy session? People are most often interested in hypnotherapy because they have a recurring thought and/or behavior and/or life situation that they've tried to change on their own but can't for some reason. They may know the reason. They may not. Either way, they feel powerless in making the change and are sick and tired of it.
Examples of clients and their reasons for coming lately:
Man afraid of flying but has to get over it so he can work and travel with his spouse
Woman who can't stand being around her father
Man who is suffering from depression and has tried numerous other tactics, doesn't understand why he's so depressed
Woman with a fear of public speaking but has to speak publicly for a job promotion
Man who wants to feel confident again
Man who wants to better understand himself and his behavior in romantic relationships
Woman who has body image issues
Woman who hates her job but has to keep it for now
Man who wants to make a career change but is terrified
Woman who sees a pattern of how she treats men in romantic relationships and wants to change
They struggling with anxiety and panic attacks and medicine isn't working
Woman experiencing high anxiety and doesn't know why or what to do
What can someone expect in a session?
You can expect to experience a wide range of emotions - peacefulness, rest, relaxation, fear, expressing negative emotions you've been carrying, release, crying, healing, freedom, recovery, renewed energy, excitement, laughter, joy. A lot happens in one session. You'll feel different than when you arrived. The goal is lighter and more at ease with a new perspective.
How will I feel after a session?
You'll feel like you feel after a good cry - maybe a little tired. Other emotions will depend on your experience. Either way, you'll feel lighter and yet more grounded, balanced.
How many sessions do I need?
I have no idea until we do the first session. How long have you had this issue? If it's something that developed in the last few years, it may take 1 session. If you've been carrying this around for 40 years, it's going to take a few sessions. We do what it takes to take care of your unexpressed emotions and pain. The goal is your independent existence navigating your life with confidence. I'll make recommendations from time to time and ultimately, you are in charge of your experience.
Why is it $160 per session?
Sessions may be anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours. I see clients for as long as I need to. $160 is a fair amount right now for me to justify all of my years of training and the time I take with each client. What are you willing to exchange in order to rid yourself of the personal hell you are experiencing? What's it worth? I do work with people in unique situations that need help and can't financially meet that exchange amount. Contact me if this is your situation.
Will I be mind-controlled?
You're fully aware of what is happening. Consider it as entering a dream together. You drive. I navigate. Ultimately, you decide when to turn. So, no, you're not mind-controlled.
Is it like the movies?
Probably not. If lying on a couch and feeling the most relaxed you've ever felt and dealing with unexpressed emotional pain, understanding its root cause, healing it, and feeling different in mind, body, and soul when you open your eyes is like the movies, then maybe.
I saw a stage-hypnotist once and it was weird.
Yeah, those dudes are weird. They are usually over the top in their whole demeanor - facial expressions, costumes, props. It's fascinating and a little creepy. I admire what they bring to the field as they show the power of the Rules of the Mind (prior post). Stage hypnotists show us how impressionable we are. So do marketers and cult leaders and news channels. I'm not making any impression on you that you don't want to make. That's the difference here - we make the changes YOU want to make but can't seem to do on your own.
I'm not sure hypnotherapy is acceptable by my religion.
Then you probably shouldn't come. Nothing I do violates any religion. I am not a witch. I'm not putting you under a spell or whatever else a religion might fear. A hypnotherapy session with me is actually like a joint prayer. Hypnotherapy is for people who want to become more self-aware, take responsibility for their lives, think critically, self-examine, and change their own thoughts, habits, and behaviors.
